First Communion

Sacramental Preparation for Children
(First Reconciliation and First Communion)
The preparation for these sacraments normally happens in the second grade (or older), and only happens after the child is baptized Catholic. We, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary’s Parish, offer this Sacramental Preparation program to the children in order to introduce them to and teach them about our Catholic Faith and our church traditions. We do this through the beauty of the Sacred Liturgy and the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist.
If your child is not yet baptized talk with our RE Coordinator to find out how to baptize your child. For questions, please call the Parish Office at 541-926-1449 or email at olphfaithformation@stmarysalbany.com.
